After/Morning Care

We are pleased to once again be offering the Aftercare Program to our school families. Please be certain to read the AfterCare Letter carefully as some of our policies and procedures have had to change due to recent guidelines and safety measures.

Each family must complete the Family Registration Form FIRST. Following the submission of the Registration form and fee, you may begin to complete the registration forms to secure your child(ren) a spot each week. If you are in need of Morning Care please contact Mrs. Ryan directly at to make arrangements.

Please be advised, invoices are sent home bi-weekly and are due upon receipt. Failure to pay in a timely manner will result in a $5 late charge per week.

Immunization Information

On June 17, 2019, NYS passed legislation removing non-medical exemptions for immunizations. Important information regarding this can be found under School Resources.  All students who attend LBCRS must adhere to this new legislation.

Nurse's Notes

Listed below are a few instructions/requests for the school year:

Please call the Health Office at 516-842-9880 to report your child’s absence or lateness.

For some additional guidelines to help determine if your child should stay home from school:

Please inform the Nurse if your child is diagnosed with any communicable diseases, such as Conjunctivitis (pink eye), Strep Throat, Ringworm or Pediculosis (head lice).

Do not send medication of any kind in with your child. NYS law requires a doctor’s prescription for any medication given during school time, including over the counter remedies.

Upon returning to school after returning from an absence, a note explaining the reason for the absence is expected.

Homework requests should be made by 8:30 a.m. to insure adequate preparation time by the teacher(s).

If your child is returning to school with a cast, stitches, crutches due to any restrictive injury a Doctor’s note must state any restrictions, if not, gym and recess are restricted.

Finally, required medical physical exams for grades Pre-K, K, 1st, 3rd, 5th and 7th, as well as, any new entrants into LBCRS are due by October 15th.

Listed below are some important forms and information. Please feel free to print out and submit as needed. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact the Health Office.
